Road Map

The eclectic acoustic duo known as Peregrin Road began as a dream in the hearts of co-founders Matt Schofield and Brett Wilson.

Brett, (acoustic guitars, piano, vocals, mandolin, recorder), from the East coast, (Maryland/Washington D.C./Nashville) and Matt, (Bass, guitars, ukulele, accordion), the Westerner, (Chicago/L.A.), converged from the two coasts and met in Colorado where the wild beauty of the Rocky Mountains took root in their hearts.

Based in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Peregrin Road is about the journey of life. It’s about love, laughter and learning the Art of Slowing Down and breathing in this gift we call life with all the passion, focus, honesty, purpose and determination the soul has to offer.  It is about living life Above it All.

Redefining the sound of the Rocky Mountains - Peregrin Road presents a blend of eclectic acoustic instrumentation – smooth and intimate guitars, mandolin, violin, bass and recorder, sprinkled with piano, ukulele and accordion; all supported by rich harmonies, soaring vocals and insightful lyrics.  You can find a wide range of influences in their songs including John Denver, Dan Fogelberg, Nickel Creek and Henry David Thoreau-gone-West.  Never heard Thoreau’s music?  Who knows?  It may have sounded something like this.

The Peregrin Road experience
